Who We Are: Stuart Kingsley

Dr. Stuart Kingsley is an expert in fiber optics, with a Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering. Since 1990, he has vigorously promoted the idea of optical SETI. In particular, he has created an extensive web site, and he has spearheaded three optical SETI conferences. Largely due to his efforts, optical SETI has now gained much greater acceptance within the SETI field than it had a few years ago.
